Overview

AlloFi is a personal finance app that helps you track accounts, spending, and shared expenses. AlloFi is developed and operated by Prosentia Financials LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your data.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide and the data needed to run the app:

• Account details: your email, username, name, and optional profile photo and phone number.
• Financial data: accounts, balances, transactions, categories, merchants, recurring payments, and bills you add manually or import.
• Connected bank data: if you link a bank through Plaid, we receive account and transaction information from that institution.
• Device information: basic identifiers needed for notifications and security (such as new-device sign-in alerts).
• Advertising attribution: a standard app activation event and, only if you grant Apple's tracking permission, the device advertising identifier used to measure whether a Facebook or Instagram ad led to an install.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to provide and improve the app: to display your finances, calculate analytics and your financial health score, sync across your devices, send notifications you enable, and keep your account secure. We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How Your Data Is Shared

We share data only with the service providers that make AlloFi work and measure app-install advertising:

• Supabase — secure cloud storage, authentication, and database.
• Plaid — to connect your bank accounts (only if you choose to link one).
• Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI — only with your explicit consent, to read statement PDFs, receipts, and screenshots you choose to import so transactions can be extracted automatically. Nothing is sent to these AI providers until you agree, your documents are not used to train their models, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Profile → Privacy & Security.
• RevenueCat — to manage your subscription.
• Logo.dev — to display merchant and bank logos.
• Meta — to measure and improve Facebook and Instagram app-install advertising. We send only the standard app activation event and, with your Apple tracking permission, an advertising identifier. We do not send Meta your financial data, account contents, name, email, or imported documents.

These providers process data under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell your data, use your financial data for advertising, or share your account contents with advertisers. You can deny Apple's tracking permission and continue using every AlloFi feature.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in the cloud and protected in transit with encryption (HTTPS). Access is restricted so that only you can read your own records. Sensitive credentials, such as the secure token that links your bank through Plaid, are additionally encrypted so they cannot be read directly from our database. We also offer in-app protections such as Face ID lock and new-device sign-in notifications.

Our Access to Your Data

Like any cloud app, our systems technically store your information so the app can work. We do not look at your individual financial data, and we access it only when strictly necessary — for example, to provide support you have requested, to fix a technical problem, or where required by law. We never browse your data out of curiosity, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated financial data from our systems.

Your Rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Children's Privacy

AlloFi is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know within the app.
